Can you stand one more carved cake?

Here's what the artist says about it:

"I won't bore you with the laundry list of problems I had with this cake, but I will say it was a definite rush job. It took three rectangular cakes, two circle cakes, and two speheres. I stacked them all together, and carved the "turkey" shape... I should say "turkey-ish." I carved a cake a couple of weeks ago, but, pardon the pun, this one really takes the cake. It was much, much more difficult. Maybe next time (assuming there is a next time!) it will look more like a turkey."

My response? "The only way the next one could possibly look more like a turkey is if it were to take off and fly around the barnyard!"

I can just imagine slicing into that thing expecting white meat, and getting cake!

(I think I'd be disappointed.)

John this is getting ridiculous, you can't keep posting pictures of objects and saying "thats a cake".

Its quite clearly a turkey and you are just trying to get one over on us, we will all say "oh thats amazing that cake" and then you will say "no its just a turkey, I fooled the lot of you".

Or you could just email us all a slice in a serviette, which would prove it. I have some concern though that if you did email one it may clog up my broadband, so maybe i'll just take your word for it.

I know what you mean about expecting white meat, but are absolutely SURE that's not a turkey? Sure looks like one to me! LOL!

That's incredible! Hey, this is another good idea* for a book - a picture book of Ruth's amazing cakes!

* we're still waiting for the book of Carol's pics and your captions...

Happy Turkey Day to you and yours, John.

That's amazing - I'd be disappointment if it wasn't turkey, too! I hope you had a great Thanksgiving, John.

my 2 year old just walked up to the computer, looked at the picture of the cake and said "Turkey!" Trust me, it looks like a turkey.
