Buzzard on the moon

Carol's camera at work at our golf course today. . .

Pretty slick, huh?

(I started to call this post "Buzzard Moon," but for obvious reasons decided not to.)

Oh, that's a fantastic photo!! You need to submit that to a contest, or Parade magizine, or something!

Very cool photo. I even like the name 'buzzard moon'. Works for me.

Kenju is right, that needs to be submitted somewhere - it's a winner!

Beautiful shot! Carol has a real knack.

And I concur with all of the above--she should start submitting some of her work to contests. Check out the nature magazines, the hunting and fishing magazines. Sometimes they're even just looking for photographs to use with articles. Just a quick glance at writer's weekly's paying markets shows a Fishing/Hunting magazine that accepts photos to supplement articles. Granted, it only pays $10, but it's $50 for cover shots of "hunters and anglers with their game."

Although, I know she does it purely for the love of the art.

WHEN are you two going to get started on that book, the one with her pics and your comments?

Candace,

And that book would be... What genre, again? Nature/humor/photography... what? And the market would consist of whom?

Sounds like a great idea though. I'll have to work on getting some sample material put together and see if I can drum up any interest.

This is robotMONKEY here, robotJAM asked me to pop by and see what you've been up to.

This is one amazing bird picture, although I hope that isn't a lesser spotted monkey eating eagle.

John, that book wasn't my idea (I wish it was), but someone else's on your blogroll (identify yourself, please).

You have a built-in market right here!

And it would be a great coffee-table book of regional (Southern) interest, dum-dum!

Carol is sure a natural with the camera. Very nice pics. I am also a fan of the buzzard moon shot.
