A rainy Sunday

No golf today. No photography. In fact, not much of anything except rain.

We watched football. I cleaned the garage and put Rain-X on the car windshields.

We basically relaxed.

I read some, I wrote on my latest WIP some.

All in all, not a bad day. But then, tomorrow’s Monday and it’s back to work.

Darn.

Remember the old Carpenters’ song, “Rainy days and Mondays Always Get Me Down?” For me it’s not the rainy days as much as the Mondays.

Hangin' around - nothin' tedo but frown...aw crap - now that's stuck in my head!! My favourite carpenters song was always "I'm on the (pause) Top of the Wor-horld - looking (pause) down on creation and the only explanation I can find..." Hey I could go on - but I'm guess that's stuck in *YOUR* head now :)

The boy is back in the pacific. So get used to the rain.

Rainy days - what a blessing after the brutal summer we had here, yes? Glad you got some work done on your WIP, John.

Amen.

I second those sentiments.

And I miss the Carpenters, too, for the record. (ha! no pun intended)

"And when the evening comes,
We smile.
So much of life ahead..."

Good stuff.

Thanks, Valk and Jen. More memories.
