Front-page news

In this morning's "Victoria (TX) Advocate" newspaper. My plant!

Could this be my 15 minutes? I've now had my name on the front page of our local paper twice in the last 3 weeks.

Here's the other story. This one's a lot less upbeat.

What is needle coke? Is that coke you inject into your arms instead of sniffing it? *grin*. Great write up John.

What has happened to the house that burned down?

John, does that plant have anything to do with Union Carbide?

I hate that poor woman died in the fire at so young an age. That is the first time I have ever seen the name Bohdanka. What nationality was that from??

I'd like to know what needle coke is too. I have NO idea. I feel stupid. LOL!

Me neither, never heard of needle coke, that is. Sounds illegal.

It'll be interesting to hear what the findings are vis a vis the fire. Wasn't the woman seen outside the house talking to someone just prior to that?

Sure hate to hear that about your neighbors.

I can beat that. The mention in the paper, that is. My son made the front page of the Chicago Tribune on Saturday, with his pink mohawk. We were at Lollapalooza. His fifteen minutes went on all day Saturday, while complete strangers came up to us and asked if he was the kid from the paper.

I should have told you to have your daughter check it out. I spaced. Sorry.
